Testing historic Porsche 911 cars in Lausitz
14. 8. 2018, Boxberg / D
To test the newly assembled white Porsche 911 after the general restoration, as well as an orange 911, which was also restored after last year’s Safari Rally, we organized a two-day test at a German campus near a power plant by Boxberg. This is also where the Lausitz Rallye is held.
The test was attended by both drivers (Joseph Huber and Josef Jobst), who used this test as training for the Balkan Classic Rally, in which we will all participate in September in Bulgaria.
We also installed Reiger shock absorbers on Josef Jobst’s car for the first time; these shock absorbers have already proven themselves on the orange Porsche in the Safari Rally. As further improvement in development, we installed pure AP Racing racing brakes on the orange 911.
Photographer Martin Trdla also participated in the test, preparing the following photo gallery.
